There was a large attendance of members and visiting members at the ■jov.'il Lginont 1.0.0. F., on Monday 'Hie JJist net ollicers conferred degrees on several brethren wko were eligible for .same. Uro. Armitage of tlie Loyal Parncll Lodge, visited the Lodge and was accorded Lodge honors. Prov. G.M. Hancock in thanking the Lodge for the maimer 111 which they .had been received, made special reference to the financial and numerical strength of tlie Order in the province. Bro. D.G.M.. E. D. Sole a> d Pro. C.S., C. E. Bel' iager also suitably responded. After the Lodge closed, the members tried conclusions with tlio members of their sister Lodge, the Royal Excelsior, in a enbhage and euchre 'tournament. which resulted in a win torthe Eguout Lodge. The members then entertained the District Ollicers with a little light rclrcshmelits. During tin- meeting Prov. 0.5., C. E. llelh'ingcr made a brief reference to the Annuities proposal that emanated trout the late Premier, and said that later on if the matter came before the 1 11 juse of Representatives he proposed to 'rail a tneclmgof lodge mcmbrrs, and to -pend an eveinig in fully , ihv.'uss'iigi lie prupijs'i!-- of the G ovcrn- • lnent.
Prov. G.M. Hancock made a presentation, on behalf of the Lodge. of a framed emblem to P.G., W. IhtUer, who suitably responded.
