AN ELECTRICIAN'S APPOINTMENT.
PER I'IiESS ASSOCIATION, Wellington, July 24. The Minister of Mines has approved of the selection of G. Fairfield, of Petone, as electrical instructor at the Tilames School of Muio, at a salary of £2OO per annum. Mr Fairfield is at present on the staff of tlie railway workshops at Petone, ail 1 he is also in charge of the olectrieal class at Petone Technical School.
