A bail has been patented by a Taraoaki firm, which is far in advar.re of any other contrivance for securing cows whilebeing milked. It is rt""vUed from the back of the cow, and lie can be bailed up or released with the greatest ease by even the smllest milker. Pairymen will find these bails are noi onl; great time-savers, but are reliable, ea;y to hi, and never get out of repair; in fact, can be fixed with little alteration in any shel in which old bails are at present in use. The articles supplied are :—2 screw ) ulleys lift of cord and ring, 1 iron bail j and the cost is only a few shillings.
