ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A very pietly wedding was solemnised 011 U Liinesdav at the Carrington road Methodist Church, the bride being Miss l'ead Wilkin, eldest daughter of Mr Walter J. Wilkie, and the bridegroom Mr 11. Charles Riley, youngest son ut .Mr J. 11. Riley, of bell Block. Mr Arthur Oliver acted as best man, and Mr George Wilkie as groomsman. The Rev. R. F. Williams conducted the ceremony. Tile bride looked very charming in a trained gown of white Indian muslin, the bodice having a satin yoke and corslet belt, and being trimmed with Indian lace and pleated chiffon and chiffon roses. She wore a veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids (Miss Hilda Hollard and Misses Jessie and Rose Wilkie) were dressed respectively in cream serge, crepoline, and cashmere, trimmed with chiffon and silk lace, and heliotrope hats and belts to match. All carried shower bouquets. Miss Ibbotsun presided at tlie organ and played appropriate music. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Rev. Williams presented the bride with a couple of pieces of plate, given by members of the church and congregation, in recognition of her services as organist and Sunday School teacher. The large company then adjourned 'o the home of the bride's parents, where afternoon tea was partaken of, after which the happy couple left for an extended trip to W'angaiiui and I'almerston. The bride's Hovelling dress was of grey cloth, trimmed with white corded velvet, with white hat and furs to match. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a gold brooch, with ruby centre, and to the bridesmaids green stone hearts and gold brooch.
