[On July 3rd Mr John Norton created exoitement in the New South Wales Assembly, accusing Mr Holraan, a prominent member, of aooeptina bribes from brewers m connection with the Liquor Bill. He demanded a Koyal Commission of enquiry, and challenged Mr Holman to resign and oontest Uootamilndra seat with him. Mr Holtnan replied to Mj Nor, ton s charges, denying them, arid ooneluded by aeoepting the challenge. Mr Holman represented Cootamundra, and Mr Norton represented , Surrey Hills, Mr Norton has now beeu-defeated for his old seat. The Cootamundra con* test takes place next Saturday.] .
