The annual meeting of the Taranaki Boxing Association was lu-11 at Stratford on Monday night. After oonsidorable discussion regarding the advisability or otherwise of continuing the Association, it was resolved to endeavour to keep the Association alivo, and oflhors for the year were appointed. The matter of holding a tournament was left in the hands of the committee. The breadwinner has a friend in " Champion " flour. Its action in refusing to be cajoled or forced into the flour trust has been of incalculable benefit to every home. The trust has to keep down tho price of flour just a little, on account of " Champion" standing out for the people, and offering a superior article at a prioe that is much lower than what might be squeezed out if all millers amalgamated, and forced ;up tho price.
