DREFUS' REINSTATEMENT.
APPROVED BY CHAMBER OP DEPUTIES. Received 15, 4.30 p.m. Pabib, July 14. The Chamber of Deputies, by four hundred and seventy three to forty, two, approved Captain UrcW reinstatement, and by four hundred and seventy-seven to twentysevou that Of Major Picquarts, but rejected M. Presense's motion for the dismissal of the officers who committed the for. series.
The Chamber also by a large majority approved a motion rendering homage to the authors of the Drefus' revision trial, denouncing the authors of the conspiracy, and expressing confidence in the Government to execute the necessary penal measures.
APPROVED BY THE SENATE, GENERAL MERCIER ANSWERED. Received 15, 430 p.m. Paeis, July ]4. By a six-fold majority the Senate approved Drefus' and Picquart's reinstatement. General Mercier declared the Renn#s judgment was muclrmore convincing than that of the Court of Cassation.
A Senator ejaculated, amidst oheers, that Mercier.ought to replace Drefus on Devil's Island.
