A deputation from the Auckland Dental Association waited on tinBoard of Education this mornm» to urge the necessity for measures for the proper inspection and 'ire of Hiooi children's teeth. Dr. Cj.\ spoke of the bad state of the tcetk of srhon' children, and said that as pour people were not in a position to pay the regular fees, proper inspection should be made of the children's teeth, and a Dental Hospital, with a qualified enpenntendent and honorary assistants, should he established at some central position, where skilled treatment would be given at nominal rates. The chairman endorsed the remarks made, and said the matter was now baton the Hospital Board. Possibly by acting together, some dofinite scheme for the treatment of the teeth of poor people and children could be evolved.
