TINNED MEATS.
AMERICAN WITHDRAWN IN THE NAVT, AUSTRALIAN AND ARGENTINE SUBSTITUTED. Received 10, 9.36 p.m. London, July 10. Owing to a refusal by the crew of one of the Atlantic squadron to eat American tinned meat, the Admiralty permitted the crewa to return such meats, substituting Australia and Arge*tine tmned.meat. Mr Winston Churchill, replyiiig'to Mr John Redmond, gave emphatic assurances, on Mr Coghlan's authority, of the satisfactory official iuspection of Australian tinned meats.
