THE PROPHET RUA.
J PEE FKESS ASSOCIATION , Gubobne, July 9. Run, the so-called prophet, is still camped in this district, and states be intends to remain until he gets a call from a higher power to move on. He states it has cost hiin over £3OJ in provisions sin-e he set out, and £7<> since he has been in this district. He declares that instead of his living on other natives, local folio .vers have been living in the camp at his oxptjnse. He has failed to obtain aimission to the church, the doors of which he proclaimed would be opened to hiin. On Saturday he had a ivordi warfare with the rival prophet Werea, who made a stir in the Wanganui district some months ago.
