Also started; Glenafric, Blackfish, Son Cruz, Momotoa, Alcohol, St. Roller, Uncle Tom, Hiniora, Lord Reynard. Won by a length. Time 52Asecs. Divs. £3 17s and £1 lis. Flying Handicap: Forest Ranger 1, Marangi 2, Gladsmuir 3. All started (15). Won by a length. Time lmin 17 1-oth sec. Divs. £l3 17s and £2. Park Steeplechase: Hakaria 1, Kruger 2, Medallus 3. Also started: Morehu, Potango. Won easily. Time 6min lGsec. Divs. £1 8s and 14s. Haek Flat: Hineora 1, Melton Hall 2, Riviera 3. 'Also started: Sarakoff, Lucks All, Eeay, Paikea. Won easily. Time 131 3-5. Divs. £lO 7s and 19s. The owner of Hineora was called on to explain how the horse ran so poorly in the Scurry and so .well in the Hack race. After enquiry it was decided to pay out and caution the owner and jockey. Hack Steeplechase: Loch Fyne 1, Morpeth 2, Borax 3. Also started : No Shot, Roseplot, Sergeant Major, Ngapuhi, Flame, Alcohol, Zulu. Won by two lengths. Time 446 1-5. Diys. £2 2s and £1 Is.

Winter Oats: Montigo 1, Gaiety 2, Trephine 3. Also started: Ladylike, Hiki, Flan, Craftsman. Won by half a length. Time 2 2, Divs, £3 6s and £2 2s.
