Defending the _ Labor Party against charges contained u a circular Usued by tho Womens' iranch of the Farmers' Political A sso.nation, charging the party with seeling to weaken the marriage tie, and lestroy family lifo, Mr Prije u-ed vords to the effect that the " Jirty birds " would not be found amongst the the Labor Party, but would bo found amongst the ladies' committee at Mount Ganbier, who took such men to their lomoi. Keplying to a request for.an explanation from tbc presilept of j the Association, Mr Price stated he had no intention to cast a slur on the oharacter of any of the women, but to ittack certain nun belenging to the Association's side of politics. The prcsidont has now written that the explanation is unsatisfactory, and demanding a fall apology, pending a meet' ing of the Association to consider further action.
