THE WESTLAND SEAT.
APPRECIATION OP MB TOM t SEDDON. mnsss associates. ____ Gisyxocth, July 3. ' Is an editorial congratulating Mr Tftm Seddon on his political address at Snaara, the "Grey River Argus" fays s—Mr Seddon gave an excellent account of himself, and gave every promise of being a worthy son of a worthy father. The audience was a most enthusiastic one, and it is safe to say that any who previously had doubts as to the candidate's ability soon had those , doubts set at rest, and the unanimous vote of thanks and confidence accorded Mr Seddon by the meeting, showed ii that Kumara at least was hilly satis- |> fied with the candidate's first speech. a It would not be putting the matter accurately to say that the candidate t( showed that he had a thorough grasp of all the details of the questions he 2 dealt with, but it is no exaggeration to j. state that he had more than a passing acquaintance with the subjects he ' handled, a greater acquaintance, as a - matter ofjfact, than many young men of > the same age who have had equal edncational advantages, have of the burning political questions of the day.
