The Collector of Customs heard from Gisborne that the master of the Toroa reports passing on Sunday morning, fire miles south of Cape Terewhite, a square ship's mast sticking oat. The Marine Department has been informed that the steamer Toroa on Sunday evening lighted a derelict off Terawhite. It is supposed to be the mow Haeremai, now, fifty days out Iron Auckland to Wellington.
