The Mayor uid by taking advantage of the provisions of Section 346 of the Municipal Corporations Act they may obtain power from the Gover-nor-in-Ceuncil to make regulations for Hearing cleanliness of znilk shops and of milk ressels, and for prescribing precautions to be taken in protecting sulk against infection or contamination lui for prohibiting the sale of milk in •tee* where the public health would be likely to be endangered. Applica tioo would be made to the Goyrrnor-in-Cauncil forwith, and in due course regulation* would be brought into operation.
