OBNOXIOUS INSPECTORDOM.
HOW SOME OTJTBUN SEASON FEB PBEBB ASSOCITION. Dosbdin, June 26. At the Police Court to-day, the In spector of Factories prosecuted a grocei lor not registering his place as a fac tory, as the Inspector had found i person other than the owner at work mixing or grading tea. The case was dismissed, as it was not shown that more than one person was employed. The same defendant was then charged with employing two shop assistants after 1 o'clock on Saturday. On tho Inspector visiting the place he found the owner and an assistant emptying a tank full of crockery outaide, while defendant's daughter was at the till. For the defence, it was Stated that the girl was going to the bank to get some change, and went to the till to get the money. The Magistrate thought the case was an extreme one. The assistant was not selling or carrying on business, and the girl, who lived on tho premises, had only gone to the till for money. The case was dismissed.
