VICKERS' & STEVENS' REEOBT Messrs Viekers and Stevens report that there was a fair yarding of cattle at their Inglcwood yards on Wednesday. Bidding had more life in it, and prices were considerably belter, nearly everything changing hands at the following rates: Calves 8s to 15s, 18 months iifis, 2 lo 2A year steers L 3 (is 6d, store cows LI to L2 Is, spring ealvcrs L2 to L 3 2s 6d, springers L 3 10s to L 6, culled ewes 5s 1 Id. At Mr Cacutt's sale at Waipuku on Monday there was a large attendance. Bidding was good and everything was sold at the hammer. Old and backward cows made from L2 10s to L 3 ss, good forward cows LI to LO 2s Od, pigs, cart and suniln.'s at good prices.
