Received 22,10.47 p.m. Mblboubhb, June 82, Mr Bent (Premier of Victor!*) stated ho Government had no money for local option polls, until the new Licensing Bill has been introduced. ,l« complained that, only seven thouund of the twenty thousand advanoed ■ rom revenue to assist the licensing iimd in connection with the previous •j'jal option polls had been returned.
