DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM.
FEB PHE3S ASSOCIATION. Auckland, June 21. Au inquest was held to-day upon the body of David Kilgour, who died yesterday while under chloroform. Evidence given by Drs. Bull, Dudley and Gotdon, was to the effect that deceased became violent under the influence of chloroform and then ceased breathing. Artificial respiration was tried without avail. Certain organs of deceased's heart were diseased. Tho jury returned a verdict in nccordance with the medical evidence, namely, failure of the heart's action, the result of chloroform properly administered.
