SUSPECTED DROWNING FATALITY.

FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Hokitika, June 21. Grave fears are entertained for the safety of a young man Wm. Leamont, who left with pack-horses yesterday morning to deliver goods to the men engaged on the road to Wilberforce Beefs. His horses and dog were found on the river bed to-day, but there was no trace of the missing man. The river being in high flood, leaves little doubt of his fate. Search parties are out in all directions. '
