LOCAL MEMORIAL SERVICES.
Public momoriul services in NonPlymouth are to be held in the Herrcation grounds commencing at half-past two. In the event of the weather being unpropitious, the services w ill be held in the Theatre Eoyal. The services will be impressively solemi), and hymns and music apuropriatc to the occasion will be rendered. Business throughout the district, unless where quite impossible, "'ill be wholly suspended. The local volunlcer companies are notified to parade at the drill hall at 2 o clock, to take part in the proceedings. All the hotels in the town will be closed from 2 till 4 p.m., a kindly tribute to the dead statesman's memory. In every town in the province united memorial services in connection with the funeral are being held, friendly societies, volunteers and lojal bodies combining to make an imposing ceremony.
