his reward had beon a full measure of rosontment on tho part of the meat companies, the Acting Premier (the Hon. W. Hall-Jones), and the Chief Veterinarian. He felt sure that the moasuro of reform whieh must follow his disclosures would he for tho benefit of the people of New Zoaland, am} would ultimately assure that they would get nothing but tho bost mrat for consumption. It would result in the people of New Zealand getting meat at lesser rates than the exoribnnt prices niw charged.
