Out ot res] ect to tlio niomory of the laic Mr Secltion, tlio Recreation Ground Commiltce's concert and euclirc party to have been held in the Theatre Koya! on Thursday, has been postponed lill tlio following evening. Notwithstanding the alteration in the arrangements. the public will, no doubt, liberally patronise the committee's: effort to raise further funds for the work of ground nnprovoment. The engineers are now engaged at the Recreation Ground, and the surveys will shortly be completed, after which the work will bo commenced in earnest, and the commitlco confidently anticipate that Ike public will respond to the:r appeals for funds, especially as they intend in every case (o give good value in return for patrons' money.
