Mr Massey, Leader of the Opposition, with nearly all the Auckland members of Parliament, were passengers by the through train South yesterday morning, Mr A H. Adams, one of th: ablest writers New Zealand has turned out, is stopping la Hawera, for a few days gathering color for a new novel he i> engaged upon. Mr Adams takes up the editorship of the " Red Pago " of the Sydney " Bulletin" towards the end of the present year.
