TO THE EDITOR. Sib, —In dofoncc of the statements made by Dr. Fagot in giving evidence in the Mit'lheil-Cliristie case, Instates that I did not deny the charge of making a bet with a bookmaker. I am prepared to swear that I did. Ho also states that he consulted another steward before he ordered the police to see me off the course. I am prepared to bring evidence to prove that ho did not, and, what is uiore, he never gave me a chance to explain myself. I ain, etc.,
