Messrs Tickers and Stevens report there was only a moderate entry of cattle in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday, There are more enquiries for young stock which showed an improvement on late prices. Calves made from 6s to 13s (id, 15 to 18months £1 lis to £1 Bs, store cows 25s to 445, spring calvers 40s to 60s, springers £3 10s to £4 10s, lambs 7s 6d, culled ewes 7s 7d to 8s 6d.

Poordeinand for uiutton. but any change in prico is iu favour of sellers, Poor demand for beef, andthe market for fore-quarters is unfavorably affected, owing to the proVingeuwarm weather.
