During a Corpus Christi procession at Billostock, » Jewish anarchist on a balcony threw a bomb. Many were killed, including a clergyman. The Jews' windows were siinultaneous-y peppered with revolver shots, and a crowd of soldiers surrounded the houses and fired volleys through the windows. Meanwhile the processionists and others sacked the Jewish shops, and killed and wounded hundreds of Jews.
