(From Our Own Correspondent.) The many friends of Mr Henry Desforges, " Burton Grange Farm," Koru, will regret to hear that he is very ill The family and friends have been summoned to his bedside.
I hear Mr I{. Mills has sold his farm to Messrs Pearson and Tuck, sawmillers.
A representative meeting of dairy farmers was held at the residence of Mr Haxton on Wednesday evening, to consider the ways and means of erecting a creamery at Koru for tho coming season. It was agroed that Mossrs Bail], Williamson, and Haxton wait on tho directors of the Oakura Dairy Company, at a meeting to be held at the office of Mr Gardner, Brougham street, New Plymouth, on Friday, June 15th, when it is hoped satisfactory ar. rangements will be arrived at. [The meeting referred to was hold on Friday. Nothing definite has been arrived at, but it is hoped that within a month a satisfactory arrangement will be made.—Ed.
