TEE PBESS ASSOCIATION' Wellington, Juue 14. In response to the request of tli Chamber of Commerce the ActingMinister of Railways has agreed to reduce tho number of trains running through the city by twenty per day. that is ten each way. For some time, the constant whistling of trams has been regarded as a nuisance almost intolerable by those engaged in offices and warehouses in tho vicinity of the railway lino. The reduction does not alfcct the railway time-table from Wellington, but only the short section b otween Thorndon and Te A to stations.
