"" Dunkdin, June 14. John Stanley, 60 years of age, died suddenly to-day. He had been complaining for some time of feeling un well. Dr. Cominins, who was a friend, frequently prescribed medicine for hiii', and Mrs Stanloy applied to hiin for a oertifijato of death, but, finding he wr not qualified to givo it, reported to the police.
The inquest concerning the death of tho llcv. Father ftcGrath, who lost liif life in tho liro at Tapanui, was coneluded to-day. The jury's verdict was tlint Father McGrath's death was dui to misadventure, through the accidental lestruction by firo of tho Farmers' Club Hotel on the morning of Sth Jul e.
