Bignell, builder and contractor, and ox-Mayor, said the estate had been very bidly managed and the trustees had lost golden opportunities during the last seven years of cutting up the land for building sites. If the estate were cut up it would enhance the valut of the town. He thought the trustee? should be local men.
Dr. Makgill, district health officer, said the buildings were out of date, according to modern ideas, but the sanitary arrangements were satisfactory and tho health of the boys was good.
Dr. C. r lie snid Ihe health of the boys was excellent Walter Emps 'U, head nia-ter, said there were now 112 boarders and 45 day boys The latter were admitted on a certificate character, but boarders must agree to attend chapel:
