TARANAKI OIL AND FREEHOLD COMPANY.
With this issue application forms for shares in the Taranaki Oil and Freehold Company are issued. The company is being formed for the purpose of acquiring oil-bearing property at Vogcltown, in which, it is proposed, to sink wells and ; horoughly icst the place. The indications of oil are particularly good, and if oil is struck, it it is proposed to do what tho Moturoa company is doing, i.e., forming a larger company to work the field.
