The record of a warrant issued thirteen years ago, was found by a local constable while searching through old gazettes, and this morning a local resident, a labourer, was remanded on a charge that on the 3rd day of August. IS:>3, at B-'nhar, near Balciutha, he did, by false p.'etenccs, obtain from James Morrison the sum of £9 in money.
