SECOND DAY. PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, June 4. The Great Northern Meeting was continued to-day. The weather was fine and the - attendance good. . Sol, who won the Great Northern Steeplechase, was responsible for a good performance. In the Eemuera Hurdles, Silica fell, and S. Fergus, who was riding, |had his spine fractured. His condition is serious. The sum of £15,283 10s was passed through the totalisator. Eesults:—
