EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.
> PEE PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Chbistchubch, June 4. During the fifth week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg laying competition at Lincoln College, 556 eggs were laid, making a total to dato of 2027. The best totals for the week wero 0. E. Wilson (Black Urphintons) 23, S. Pannell (Buff Leghorns) tO, M. Blanch (Silvor Wyandottes) 20. The highest total to date are D. A. Sturroek (White Leghorns) 68, D. M. Pcek (SiH* Langihaks) 68, W. Stalker (Silver Wyandotes) 66, H. Walton (White Orphingtons) 63.
