CANADA'S FINANCES.
LAEGE PROSPECTIVE SURPLUS. UNDESIBABE lUMIGRAJNTS BILL, Received 24,12.40 a.m. Ottawa, May 23. The Canadian finances for the expired portion of the year show a surplus of one million five hundred and seventy-two thousand. Mr Fielding, Minister of Finance, anticipates that the current year will end with a surplus of two million five hundred thousand. A revised tariff will be submitted next session. The Dominion House is considering a Bill for ensuring more stringent restrictions for the deportation of undesirable immigrants-
