LAND BALLOT.
At New Plymouth on Thursday a ballot was hold for lands in the Ohura and lleao survey districts. There was an unusually large attendance, men being present from all oyer the province, as well as from outside districts.
Mr E. Simpson, Chief Sjrveyer and Commissioner of Crown Lands, presided over the ballot, and was assisted by Mr H. Bannister and other ollieers. Following is the result of the ballot:
