At a meeting of the School Committees' Association a resalutioa was carried in favor of the appointment of a direotor ot technical education, and manual teaching i also that Eieontive renew representations to the Education Department in favor of abolition of age restrietion upon admission of free pupils to secondary schools, and that school examinations be held tewards the end of the year.
