The London " Times*" Maritzburg correspondent states that while it is intended that marlial law shonld be -he tribunal to deal with .the ringleaders and chiefs in the rebellion, special Courts of Magistrates are arranging to deal with the r&nk and file *rith power to impose penalties up to two years, and lashes. Everything has to be submitted for revision to the central authorities. The Mehlokazuln Ngu have joined the rebels, abandoned their kraals, and removed their women and stock. The main bodv of the rebels arc 3till witbm Colonel Mackenzies area of operations.
