There is a move in property, and I those in want of a really sound investment should inspect that ideal suburban property known as "Smart Suburbs" before buying elsewhere. The property is situated in a good locality, and will have a good metal road, the contract for the construction having been let. This property would have been sold years ago if there had been a metal road thereto. There should now be keen enquiry for such good sections. Messrs E. J. C.urthcw & Co. will supply particulars.
Appearances are not everything in footwear. In winter weather we are more apt than iu summer to weigh the points of the boots we buy. Now we look for strength and weight of leather, firm sewing and waterproof qualities made by good workmanship. All these and appearances as well, are i combined in the men's chrome bals, offered as a " sp3cial" by Messrs McEwen Bros. Neat, strong and water, tight, describes the line, which is sold at the low rate of 9s 6d a pair. Seasonable just now are goloshes, gum boots, and football boots. These, and all other lines of footwear, are fully stocked at McEwcn's, in Devon street, New Plymouth, near Bcwley and Griffiths.
