SUPREME COURT.
PES PBESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, May 15. At the Supreme Court this morning Thomas Henry Goodger, found guilty of manslaughter, was sentenced to two and a half years. The Chief Jnstite said he did not think prisoner intcnlcd 'o kill Prcstidge, whom he stabbe d with a pocket knife in the street during a quarrel, and spoke strongly against the dcinking jhabit. Frauds Gordon Waddell, found guilty of assault on S Gilmer, was sentenced to IS months' imprisonment.
