PTOMAINE POISONING VICTIMS.

FEB PHBBB ASSOCIATION. Palmekston N., May 13. A numberof cases of ptomaine poisoning occurred in Palmerston a week ago to-day, the result of eating pressed toiigue purchased at a local pork butchers on Saturday. The death has occurred of one of the victims, C. Hosking, an elderly man, and an old resident of this district. The other members of deceased's family have been seriously affected from the same cause, but like all the other cases reported, are now practically well ajiin. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
