DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET. PEll PEESB ASSOCIATION. Dunkdik, May 1(). Wheat —Fair demand for all kinds of prime milling. Owing to bad weather the bulk of the consignments from the south are unfit for milling, but there is a large demand for fowl wheat. There is no difficulty in disposing of it, but prices are too high for shipment. Prime milling 3s 2Jd to 3s 4d, good to best 3s Id to 3s 2d, medium 2s lid to 3s, broken and inferior 2s 8d to 2s lOd, sacks extra. Oats.—The demand is in advance of the supply. Owing to the unseasonable weather, very few are coming forward, and what is in store brings slightly higher prices. BURNSIDE STOCK MARKET. PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Ddnedin, May 10. Fat cattle.—l6B were yarded. There was brisk demand for well finished bullocks and heifers at last week's rates, while aged and inferior were easier. Best bullopks £8 to £9, good £6 15s to £7 10s, light £1 to £5; best heifers £6 to £7 7s 6d, good £4 15s to £5 10s, inferior £2 15s to £3 10s. Fat sheep, —l9Bl came forward. The greater proportion were medium and inferior ewes, there being very few of really prime quality. For prime wethers bidding was firm at late rates, but inferior sorts were hard to quit except at something of a reduction. Fat wethers 19s 6d to 225. extra to 245, good wethers 17s to 19s, best ewes 13s to 16s (id, others up to 12s. Fat lambs.—lll were penned. Competition was keen, prices being somewhat firmer than last week. Best lambs 14s to 17s, extra to 18s 3d, good lambs lis to 13s 6d.

Pigs.—234 were penned.—Only 84 of these were fat, the balance being suckers and slips. For smaller sorts prices eased considerably. Porkers and baconers showed an improvement. Suckers 6s to Bs, slips 10s to 14s, stores 16s to 225, porkers 28s to 395, light baconers 42s to 46:;, heavy 49s to 575, choppers up to (ids. THE HIDES MARKET.
