ANGLO-TURKISH CRISIS.
BRITAIN'S ULTIMATUM. TURKEY WARNED TO ACQUIESCE. BRITISH SQUADRON IN READINESS. Received 6, 11.14 a.m. London, May 5. The ultimatum requests the withdrawal of Turkish troops from the disputed territory, pending a delimitation on tha busis of the arrangement of 1892. The Sultan has been warned of the grave consequences, if he does not acquiesce. The cruisers Canarvon, Barham, Suffolk, Venus, the torpedo storo-ship Vulcan, with destroyers from Malta have sailed from Piraeils (Greece). Franco and Russia are supporting Britain's demand. A hurried meeting of the Cabinet was held yestorday.
