The concert given in lUliotu in aid of the funds of the Irish National League realised the sum of £ll 3s, after paying expenses. In acknowledgi»S receipt ol this amount. Mr E. J. Henly (ton. secretary of the Welling, branch of the League), in ■ a letter to Mr T. Smith, says: " Will you kindly convey to your committee, and all who assisted, the hearty thanks and. gratitude of the Wellington Executive, for this practical manifestation of sympithy for the grand old cause, which, in the words of John Redmond, is nearer the attainment of its goal than ever before." Mr llealy also mentions that Messrs Devlin and Donovan, the two delegates sent out by the Irish parliamentary party, at present lecturing in Australia, have been invited to New Zealand.
