Horses: Heavy draughts sold at from £2B to £36 10s, medium do. £l7 10s to L2U os. hacks and light harness £7 15s to LIS 10s. Cattle: Dairy cows sold at from £1 5s to £7 10s, empty do. £1 15s to £2 los, two to three-year-olds £3 2s 6d to £6, calves 18s to LI 7s, fat cows L t 10s to L 5 ss. At the Newmarket yards dairy cows sold at from Ll 10s to L 7 15s, cmptv cows Ll 14s to L2 18s, calves 17s to 2os. Beef showed no improvement on lust week's rates, the majority of the fat cattle yarded being light weights. Oxen sold up to 21s per 1001b, cow 16s to Ll. Steers sold at from L 6 10s to L 9 17s 6d, cows Ll os to L 7 10s. Sheep: Wethers sold at froui 19s 9d to Ll 5s (id, ewes 16s 6d to 23s 3d Lambs, in average supply, sold well at from 15s 6d to 19s 9d for well-fatted; other sorts 9s 3d to 13s 9d. Pigs: Porkers Ll 13s to L2 17s, wcaners 7s 6d to 19s. Oats: Market is Ann at 2s 6d cx store, and a further advance is expected. Chaff: Selling for L<llos at rail, in good demand. ' Oats: Supply continues short, and as some consignments are not placed on the market, the price is slightly higher. Barley: Best malting 3s !)d to 4s 3d, medium and milling 3s 3d (o 3s Id, feed 2s Ud to 3s, sacks extra.
BURNSIDE STOCK REPORT. IJL'.xeoin', May 2, Fat cattle : 242 yarded, principally fair quality with a few pons extra prime. Bullocks sold well, but oilier sorts showed a decline of 10s to las per head. Best bullocks L 8 las -to LlO, extra Lll 10s, medium L 6 10s to L 7 15, light L 5 15s, best heifers and cows L 7 15s.
Fat sheep: About 2(500 penned. The majority consisted of ewes with a pen or two extra prime wethers, l'rioes on the "whole were perhaps a little belter, but tliere was in increase. Best wethers Ills lid to 21s lid, extra to 255, good wethers 17s to IDs, best ewes Its to Kis (id, extra to 17s iid, good ewes lis to 13s.
Fat lambs: About 800 penned. Prices were much the 'sa ue as last week. Best lambs 14s lo His 61, extra to 17s fid, good lambs lis to 131. i'igs: 105 yarded. Suckers and slips sold under brisk competition at rilling values and porkers and baconers were also in brisk demand dospite tho largeness ot' the entry.
