PEP PBESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, May 2. Tho Mayor interviewed the Police Commissioner and Inspector Cullen to ascertain if there was any probability of obtaining additions to the Auckland police force. Mr Dinnie stated that six more men would be shortly drafted to Auckland, and if the census showed such an increase of population as would entitle Auckland to a greater number lie would make that recommendation.
