BOXING ASSOCIATION.
I A committeo meeting was held at !Mr Fitzherbert's office on Monday. Present: Mr Fitzherbert in the chair, aud Messrs Medley, Standish, Stagpoole, Webster, Waters, and Alec Hill, secretary. Mr Fitzherbert was elected chairman for the coming season. It was arranged that the club members meet for practice and training every TuesSay and Thursday ovening in the " Pantechnicon " Rooms, King Street.
Eleven new members were elected. An interesting programme will be presented to the public at the Theatre Royal in June next. Both old and new members will note this, and take advantage of every praictiee night to ensure proficiency.
