ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PEE MESS ASSOCIATION. Waikoa, April 28. \Vavera- Torr, the five-yoar-old daughter of Constable Torr, of Frascr. town, while playing on the river bank yesterday afternoon, fell in, and was drowned before assistance could be rendered. James Fletcher, hotelkeeper at Maruinaru, left home yesterday to do some fencing. He had not returned at noon, and someone went to look for him, but could not find him. A search party traced his footsteps to tho river, and found his hat. This morning tho body was recovered from the river.
