FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Thames, April 27; Charley Curham, aged 68, died suddenly to-day. He complained of feel,, inn unwell and left his employment at the gas worts .and proceeded home. He weut to bed and was seized with syncope and died before medical assistance was seoured. Heart desease was the cause. Chbistchchch, April 27. The adjourned inquest touching the death of an old man named Patrick MeCormick, whose body hod been found in the est«ary near Sumner yesterday morning, was held to-day, when a verdict was returned that death was due to drowning, but there was no evidence to show how deceased got into the water.
